St. Philip's Farmers' Market

 

Every Saturday and Sunday a farmers market is held at St. Philip’s Plaza. Summer
hours are 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Nearly seventy vendors make this farmers market 
one of the largest in the region. Offerings include artisan foods, organic coffee, 
chase, soap, oils, natural beef, hummus, jerky and tea—to name just a few!

Congressman Ron Barber spoke at our Annual meeting

Congressman Barber explained that he sits on the Small Business Committee and the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Oversight & Management Efficiency.  Congressman Barber discussed immigration and mental health issues as well as his work on behalf of veterans living in Southern Arizona.  He also explained how residents could use his office to assist with issues such as Medicare, Social Security, and foreclosures.  A question and answer session followed with Congressman Barber staying after the meeting to answer remaining resident questions.
